This Cinderella didn't plan on a prince . . . Kat MacTaggart is a girl who has a plan for everything-including her holiday ski trip to Monterra with her best friend. Everything is going according to plan until she finds herself careening out of control down a mountainside and being rescued by a guy who looks like Superman's hotter Italian cousin. HRH Prince Nico is intrigued by the woman he saved on the slopes and her refusal to date him. He offers Kat a deal-let him show her his country and he'll pay her to write articles that will help Monterra's tourism industry. Kat agrees, but given her past and lingering distrust of men, she has one condition-absolutely no kissing. Thanks to the claims of a jealous British noblewoman and the schemes of a meddling paparazzo, Kat's rule doesn't seem to be a problem at first. But the more Kat gets to know Nico and the people around him, the harder it is to remember her keep-your-distance plan. Should she stick to it or risk everything for a chance at happily ever after?

"This was a Kindle Unlimited book. I've read some really awesome KU books. This is not one of them. I'm really not a fan of the "Super Duper Virgin" plot line. She's supposed to be a grad student. Instead, the author wrote her like a 15 year old girl. This girl has no real life experience at anything. Never been kissed nor touched by a boy. A beautiful girl who has never been approached by a boy before? Really? Is she graduate from an all girls school? Go to an all girls college? Too far fetched.

Like others before me, I had a problem with a girl being unconscious for three days being allowed to leave the hospital and sleep it off at the palace. When she wakes up, she isn't hooked up to any sort of machine or medical aid. No catheter, no saline drip for hydration, no anything. There isn't realy said about her injuries other than sprains. If she didn't have a head injury, why was she asleep for three days? If she had a head injury, do they not have protocols in place to make sure the patient is alright before being released? Apparently not. It's too far fetched.

We have a girl, a beautiful girl with a rough background, who wants nothing to do with the handsome boy who interrupted her reading. Her reading of Shakespeare. On a ski trip. Sure, could happen. I mean, the reading of Shakespeare could happen. For a girl who has never received such attention before (that's the "Super Duper Virgin" plot) she has no problem shooting him down. No weird conversation because she's never talked to a boy before ("Super Duper Virgin" plot, remember) or feelings of 'holy cow, that guy was talking to me (again, "Super Duper Virgin" plot)?'

She wonders what a guy like Nico sees in her. He's a rich prince, she's working to be a social worker. I wonder what he sees in her too, to be honest. Oh and she's a part time novelist too. She can't work through grad school, because it takes up too much time. But she found time to self publish.

This girl, who wants nothing to do with the prince but keeps kissing him, is willing to be paid to write nice articles about him and sell him as a good guy so she can finish grad school. She has no problem fake dating this guy to make some money but oh, no kissing.

I can't make myself suffer through more of this. This might have been supposed to be a New Adult novel, but the author missed the mark by a very large margin."
