From the critically acclaimed author of Jennifer Government and Lexicon comes mind-bending speculative psychological suspense about a serial killer pursuing his victim across time and space, and the woman who is determined to stop him, even if it upends her own reality."I love you. In every world."Young real estate agent Madison May is shocked when a client at an open house says these words to her. The man, a stranger, seems to know far too much about her, and professes his love--shortly before he murders her. Felicity Staples hates reporting on murders. As a journalist for a midsize New York City paper, she knows she must take on the assignment to research Madison May's shocking murder, but the crime seems random and the suspect is in the wind. That is, until Felicity spots the killer on the subway, right before he vanishes.Soon, Felicity senses her entire universe has shifted. No one remembers Madison May, or Felicity's encounter with the mysterious man. And her cat is missing. Felicity realizes that in her pursuit of Madison's killer, she followed him into a different dimension--one where everything about her existence is slightly altered. At first, she is determined to return to the reality she knows, but when Madison May--in this world, a struggling actress--is murdered again, Felicity decides she must find the killer--and learns that she is not the only one hunting him. Traveling through different realities, Felicity uncovers the opportunity--and danger--of living more than one life.

"Decent time travel novel. Didn't really get if Hugo's relationship was supposed to be amorous or not tho so that threw me off. A lot happens outside of the story that I kind of wished was included. "

"This is a Sci-Fi/Mystery hybrid of a novel that shows you the depths of depravity found in an incel… I mean not literally but come on, murdering every existence of a girl in multiple universes either because A) she doesn't like you or B) she doesn't live up to your standards of how you think she should be. That seems incel-like to me… So, much like [b:Dark Matter|27833670|Dark Matter|Blake Crouch|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1472119680l/27833670._SY75_.jpg|43161998] we have a book with multiple universes, but that is really where the similarities end. The rules for travel between universes are broken down into simple and enjoyable terms while reading, so that the science fiction part of the book is not too overwhelming to non-science fiction readers. The Book is centered around newspaper reporter, Felicity Staples, who is accidentally thrown into the dimension hopping game while tracking down leads for an article on the murder of real estate agent Maddison May. With no chance of getting back to her life, she finds the only way to stop the roller coaster is to save Maddison May (the actress/ real estate agent/ weather girl/ student/ barista) who seems to be the subject of fixation by a serial killer. She is in a race against time to figure out how to stop a man she has never met, in universes she has never been to, to save a girl that she doesn’t know. This is a wild and fun ride and a murder mystery that stands out in the crowd."
"I loved this book! A book I randomly grabbed just because the title was intriguing ended up being such a thrilling page turner. The only thing I wasn't the biggest fan of was how quick of a closing to everything the end was. Like one minute they're fighting then it's like "and they all lived happily ever after". But overall still such an amazing piece that I'd read again"
