"I admit, I was hesitant after 100 pages. I didn't know if I was going to fall in line with all of the bubbling reviews of Grady Hendrix books that I have seen. I just wasn't gripped, and after 100 pages of a 220 page book, I was more then a little skeptical. But once it got good it GOT GOOD. I was thrown into a horrific and stunningly creative horror book that left my eyes wide open and brain alight with exactly what you want from a horror book, fear.
Hendrix delivered for sure, I was totally hooked and at his mercy. The "Beehive" is just so creative. The pictures between each chapter are just so creative. This book is just brimming with creativity. My hat is off to you Hendrix."

"A book one should definitely read rather than listen to (if possible). The overall graphic design of the pages adds to the quirkiness of the book, and makes it far more palatable than it is without. Without the graphics, I don't know if I would have enjoyed this book as much. I neither liked it nor disliked it. Instead, I saw it as a nice book to breeze through while I was in between more substantial titles. "

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (the vibes) this was such an interesting read! I enjoyed the humor in the first 1/3 of the book and I really liked the characters. I felt that the author was very descriptive in their writing and if this was a movie I don’t think I’d watch it since it’s gross and too graphic for me personally. I felt anxious and frustrated through the scenes and couldn’t put the book down! I actually enjoyed the ending personally and if he decides to write a second book I’d read it. There is a decent amount of body horror. (I’m new to horror books so it was the most for me so far). I would love to read the physical book for the full experience! I couldn’t rave more about this book (:
