"Book 2 from the Mayfair Witches (book 1-The Witching Hour) is the sequel and conclusion of this story that was many generations in the making. Not recommended for young readers and may be triggering for anyone who has been close to an abuse situation. The truth behind this seductive servant of the Mayfair witches unfolds and all is revealed. These books are very long, and side track to other characters along the way, but the story is one that I have not heard of before and kept my interest. "
"I read this book not even realizing one came before or after it. It actually stood alone just fine and I absolutely fell in love with it! Years later when I read the series in order, it meant even more. Lasher is a beautifully frightening character. "

"Lots and lots of monologuing/dialogue so I was left super disinterested - almost DNF'ed. Not as good as the first one."

"I don’t know, I’m still unsure about my preferences. But if I had to choose right now, it would be Stephen King’s Bag of Bones. How about you?"
