"4.75. Turning into one of my favorite mystery series. I really enjoyed the plot, especially seeing Veronica and Stoker finally consummate their relationship. Their deep friendship and understanding make me excited to see them in a true partnership. The inclusion of the Ripper in this conspiracy mystery added intrigue, and Veronica's progressive views on sex work and sex continue to make her one of my favorite characters. Her empathy for women who haven't had the same opportunities is touching and makes her stand out even more."

I absolutely adore this entire series! The writing is superb, punctuating scintillating conversation, English politics, and murder investigation inquiries with a deft amount of humor and slow-burning romance.
