Be careful what you wish for...Lt. Grayson Masters is focused on graduating the Apache helicopter course, and the last thing he needs is his gorgeous new roommate Samantha Fitzgerald distracting him. While her smart mouth and free spirit are irresistibly irritating, he can't deny their off-the-charts chemistry, no matter how hard he tries. Having just been expelled from college, Sam has no business digging for Grayson's secrets while she's hiding her own, but that doesn't stop her from trying to tear down his walls. Each barrier she busts through drops one of her own, though, and she's not prepared for the truth: another woman laid claim to Grayson's heart long ago. Falling in love is something neither Grayson nor Sam can afford, and when that line is crossed and secrets are exposed, they'll learn that sometimes it's the answered prayers that will put you through hell. The Flight & Glory series is best enjoyed in order.Reading Order:Book #1 Full MeasuresBook #2 Eyes Turned SkywardBook #3 Beyond What is GivenBook #4 Hallowed GroundBook #5 The Reality of Everything

"<strong>Couldn't wait for it to end</strong><br/><br/>This series gets worse with every book. While I had issues with the 1st 2 books, I ultimately liked them. I thought I would like Grayson's story because he was like me. Quiet and reserved. I couldn't have been more wrong. Sam and Grayson have nothing between them other than sex. The author tries very hard to convince us that they have some deep, all consuming love, but it's just lust. Grayson only thinks about Sam in terms of sex. Every time she tries to tell him how she feels, he defaults to sex. Even in the climatic reunion of these 2 he lets us know he can only think of getting his mouth on her. Gross. Grayson manages to be 2 of the hero tropes I hate the most. Obsessed with sex with a huge martyr complex. He's awful from the start. Sam is pathetically weak. We're supposed to believe that she's a spitfire who doesn't take any nonsense from Grayson, but it's literally all she does. She's a doormat for him and always forgives him the moment he gets close to her. Grayson is violent, misogynistic and constantly trying to intimidate everyone he comes across. His girlfriend Grace spends 5 years in a coma, but he tells her to her face that Sam spending one night in the hospital was a million times worse. What a tool. This book is especially disappointing because this author is so good at creating an interesting story with real connection and emotion between her characters, but she phoned this one in and just relied on drawn out sex scenes and non stop inner monlogues about sex to drive this book. Skip it."
