“My name is Rylee and I am a Tracker.”When children go missing, and the Humans have no leads, I'm the one they call. I am their last hope in bringing home the lost ones. I salvage what they cannot.Underestimating demons is a bad idea, and it's a mistake that may cost me not only my own life, but the life of a missing child. If I can swallow my pride, and allow Agent O'Shea to help me find a way to deal with the demon, we might be able to save the child. With this salvage, it's a race against time, a test of trust, and a temptation that I'm doing my damnedest to ignore. If only swallowing my pride was that easy.Starring the irresistible, ass-kicking heroine Rylee Adamson, Immune is the first book in USA Today bestselling author Shannon Mayer’s sexy, exciting, and laugh-out-loud series, a dangerously addictive paranormal romance.

"<strong>Just as good as the first if not better. </strong><br/><br/>I really like this series and I really liked this book. This one was better than the first for me because this book had more development in the romance."

"3.5 stars<br/><br/>I'm not sure this was better than the first book, but it was good, in parts. It was interesting to see Rylee deal with something she thought she would never have to worry about. Makes her realize how screwed she would be if she had kept on ignoring what her body was telling her.<br/><br/>There were just a few things that left me disappointed with this book. First was Milly. Rylee and Milly were best friends, but it seems now they can't go more than a few minutes without saying something hurtful to each other. Milly is trying hard to sleep with the agent, but not knowing Rylee's feelings for the man. Rylee is upset over it, but won't tell her friend how she feels. I don't understand how Rylee can really be that upset with Milly if she doesn't know. I know it hurts, but I think she was unreasonable with her anger. Even at the end, they didn't seem to be interacting like people who loved each other.<br/><br/>The second was O'Shea. Things happen, I know, but this was something I had hoped wouldn't happen. It just didn't sit well with me. O'Shea learns about the supernatural world and bam! He's a shifter now. Or will be. I didn't care for it. I don't think he needs to be a werewolf in order to partner with Rylee. <br/><br/>I'm moving on to the third, but I hope the next book is better."
