"The Children of Red Peak is the second book I've read by Craig DiLouie, and I enjoyed it! This book is very different than Suffer the Children, and I appreciated being able to see his versatility as a horror writer.

Sometimes I struggle with books dealing with religion-related horror, but this one worked well for me. It's slower-paced, but mysterious enough to keep you invested. I was intrigued by the story the whole time I was reading. I'm not completely sure how I feel about the ending, but I liked the book overall. The Children of Red Peak is out tomorrow!

CW - suicide, panic attack, religion"
