"I love novels in verse. To me, it feels more personal. Poems are laced with emotions, and believe me, I could feel the pain in each verse—the longing and the frustration. This story was tragically beautiful, telling a twisted but realistic story of messy love. Love isn’t always perfect. These characters were given so much depth I felt as if I could reach through the pages and see myself standing there beside them. Forbidden love. Self discovery. Chaos. Love takes many forms, and this was theirs. This book made me realize just how gritty love can get, but also how much value it can hold.
