A pair of strangers has twelve hours to relish the night of their lives in a novel that “has taken the anonymous one-night-stand relationship into the realm of art” (Publishers Weekly) from New York Times bestselling author Eric Jerome Dickey. On a cold and rainy night during the Christmas season, a woman who has suffered great personal loss and a successful businessman from Orange County meet by chance at a gas station in Los Angeles County. They have nothing in common, but as they engage in conversation and move from con games to assault to robberies, within hours they end up sequestered in an upscale hotel room. During intimacy, they continue to confide in each other and try to come to grips with their problems and their seasonal loneliness. For one night, their passion is boundless, but with every tick of the clock, their separate pasts close in. They push the limits of time, devotion, and even the law as they attempt to catch a glimpse of the future. They need each other for a lifetime but will have only one night.

"<strong>Decent story; another trash leading man </strong><br/><br/>I'll make this brief. Jake is garbage. He insults Natalie's tastes constantly. From what she drinks, the shoes she wears, even going so far as to let her know that she killed his libido by wearing a shower cap. Even worse though is that he is constantly uses his strength advantage to maneuver her or not let her move freely. Really not sure why women authors continue to right these type of men. Are they really that appealing???"

"One of my favorite books was [b:Nanny Needed|59826572|Nanny Needed|Georgina Cross|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1660399035l/59826572._SY75_.jpg|88500950] and this book was one of my most anticipated books of the year. I really enjoy the authors writing style and it was a solid story. I was able to figure out the twist twist at the end very early on, and I was hoping more more red herrings to shake my suspicions up, but most wasn’t enough to sway me in any other direction. <br/>All in all, a solid thriller with a high dose of sibling descent. 3.5 stars<br/><br/>Thank you netgalley for my gifted copy."
"I really enjoyed this book. Logan Black aka Mr. Bartender is so HOTT and sweet. Angela and him are so cute together. Christopher Angela's ex is a real douche bag. It made me laugh and cry. I can't wait to read Tabitha's story. Great book!"
