"This book follows along from “ A Not so Meet Cute” I have to admit I enjoyed this one as well. It was funny, spicy, loving, and sad moments. This is my second book from Meghan and her books are the only ones that have made me laugh so loud. Lol 😂 Wont give too much away but JP and his pigeon obsession omg it was too funny. If you’re looking for a great romcom definitely a must read. Make sure you read book 1 first. 💖"

"Dual POV and on KU. Cane brothers series book 2. I liked this one! It's a little bit of a slow burn. 3/5 🌶️ and just like A Not So Meet Cute I loved the way the spice is written. This one is a bit enemies to lovers and a tiny bit misscommunication (not my favourite). I liked the first book better but I did like this one! Laughed out loud a couple times. Will read more from Meghan Quinn! "

"was it as good as “not so meet cute”? no, <br/>JP is way more problematic and a jerk wad at times<br/><br/>am I still attracted to him? yeah<br/><br/>this love story was more dramatic, unrealistic, weird<br/><br/>JPs drinking problem, the fact that the email became an actual issue that Kelsey even remotely cared about, like, I cannot fathom a woman being told that a man did everything he could to keep it from going public and that it happened before they were together and he was intoxicated, like, it affected her in no way other than her “insecurities” like stfu that man was obsessed with you and you broke his heart because WHY WOULD YOU EVER CONSIDER GOING ON DATES WITH ANOTHER MAN???? felt like cheating 2 me…. idc if they weren’t officially dating … <br/><br/>whatever if I was her I would’ve been more on him because the banter aspect was top tier but this easily could’ve been a whole story of hot steamy romance and less drama LIKE THEY DESERVED"

"I almost didn’t finish this book but I needed to know if JP would be happy. The FMC, Kelsey, was way too judgey for me. She wouldn’t even give JP the benefit of the doubt! She was too quick to make assumptions about him. It wasn’t till about 65%-70% into the book that it started to pick up and really get me interested."
