"Was not vibing with these characters and this world. I actually really liked the TV show and maybe I would have liked the book more had I read it before I watched the show. But the characters were not sympathetic to me and I did not feel seen by them and did not understand their motives. Like it all felt very alien, maybe that's because it's a few years old and I missed my window to read it and like it but as is I would not recommend. It's a modern intergenerational witch story where we follow each female character in the regular world navigate their powers. Some spice If I remember correctly "
"I really enjoyed reading this book! I couldn't put it down! My favorite characters have to be Killian Gardiner and Freya Gardiner. They're also my favorite ship. I love that there's some Norse mythology towards the end of the book. Melissa really knows how to keep a reader on the edge of their seat. Tons of plot twists too! I highly recommend!"
"I struggling with what to say about this book. I wanted to like this book. I kept trying to read this book over and over and pushed myself to keep going even though I was not enjoying it. I felt that the characters from the very beginning were very vapid and pretentious. I struggled with the way the time jumps were explained... It feels very vague and like it goes from everything must be a secret because who knows what could happen to us to BAM everyone know screw the consequences. It just doesn't make much sense. I hope maybe a later point of my life I will be able to read it and appreciate it more then."
