"After a long time I think I have finally figured out why I hate this book. I think it had potential. (Spoiler? Ahead).. Vivi is, if I remember correctly, bipolar. I could absolutely relate to Vivi. I could relate to her euphoric highs when she was all creative or decided to do crazy **** on a whim. I could relate to her lows. What ****** me off was that she was consistantly a bitch to Jonas and that he could not/did not stand up for himself. Jonas had NO backbone. Vivi would do something or say something bitchy and then kiss him and he'd forget why he was mad or she'd be ****** at him because he was upset at her and he would be the one to apologize in the end. While I absolutely related to Vivi, she made me sooooo angry. I have never ever disliked a book in my life, until I read this one. "
"This book is really good at really gut wrenching. If you like romance and mental health books this is a really good slow burn for you, the main character Vivi struggles w bipolar disorder, and during a summer camp falls in love with Jonah. And after that their summer is never the same. I so cried at the ending. 4/5 I recommend it ⭐️"
"This book was amazing. It deep dives into the mind of someone who struggles with bipolar disorder. The way Vivi talks in this book really shows you a perspective you never imagined. "
