Joanna Wylde
The third installment in New York Times bestselling author Joanna Wylde's Reapers Motorcycle Club seriesLiam “Hunter” Blake hates the Reapers MC. Born and raised a Devil’s Jack, he knows his duty. He’ll defend his club from their oldest enemies—the Reapers—using whatever weapons he can find. But why use force when the Reapers’ president has a daughter who’s alone and vulnerable? Hunter has wanted her from the minute he saw her, and now he has an excuse to take her. Em has lived her entire life in the shadow of the Reapers. Her overprotective father, Picnic, is the club’s president. The last time she had a boyfriend, Picnic shot him. Now the men in her life are far more interested in keeping her daddy happy than showing her a good time. Then she meets a handsome stranger—a man who isn't afraid to treat her like a real woman. One who isn't afraid of her father. His name is Liam, and he’s The One. Or so she thinks.

"The humor in this book actually makes up for a lot of wasted time I spent on the previous ones. <br/><br/>This heroine is better and funnier.<br/><br/>There's much less ****-shaming, although there is one example where the heroine called a girl that Painter was *******, a **** without even knowing anything about her. These are the kinds of thing that makes me hate the previous heroines. The blinded ****-shaming and name-calling of other women who have sex. <br/><br/>The girl didn't know you were into Painter...so why the name-calling? She was just ******* some guy...she didn't know he came with baggage...or you, so why are you calling her a ***** because she's bent over a couch and taking it from him? Shouldn't you be calling HIM a ***** for knowing YOU like him but instead ******* another girl instead of you? <br/><br/>Yeah. I'll take a break from this series because honestly the sex scenes are not that great. The chemistry is meh...and the only thing that kept me going were the stories. <br/><br/>I'll probably come back to finishing this series someday. But right now, I'm ready to jump to another series.<br/><br/>Bye now.lol"
"<strong>The reapers keep bringing the sex appeal</strong><br/><br/>Continuing story for the Reapers MC and Dirty Jacks starring Emmy Hayes daughter to Reapers President and Hunter “Liam” dirty jacks soldier. We see this couple form in the previous book but their story doesn’t end well and we’re left with lots of questions of whether Emmy will forgive and whether Hunter even wants forgiveness. In this we get more of their banter and quick wit from Emmy. The first 1/3 of the book is rehashing the ending of Reapers Legacy but in Emmy and Hunters POVs so it is alittle boring but the banter and inner monologues make up for it. Picnic (Emmys dad) drove me crazy with regards to the double standard he has for her and himself but I guess it wouldn’t be an MC book if there wasn’t some misogyny. Overall a good read and can’t wait for Picnics story."
