I'm just curious on the thoughts of people and the numerous shows coming out based off of Dexter... There's New Blood which I'm not sure if s2 is coming but I liked. This current one which I haven't seen yet I wait until shows are over and binge, but I have read there's another one coming. Also, a show about the Trinity Killer (won't do spoilers but he was a main character in a season) so 4 so far lol is that too many? Are they trying to make up for the finale? Thoughts?

So I just finished Dexter season8 so I could finally begain the new Dexter show that came out. But boy was it hard to finish towards the later seasons. And I’ve been hearing how bad the show ended which I wanted to always see for myself for years. I feel sorry for anybody who had to watch that season finale and wait all these years because that was a terrible ending. One of the worse ending I’ve seen from a show in a long time.

For those who may be interested, this movie premieres on Lifetime Saturday, 10/21/23 (sure there will be future reruns). Wendi McLendon-Covey really resembles the real Vicky White!! I plan on watching as I recall this happening from the news, and I also really like prison movies/shows.

It may have took me a episode or two for this show to grow on me because it’s different than the old Dexter but the same in many ways. One thing I noticed quickly is it’s much more darker and plays or horror far more than its predecessor . But so far I’m actually loving this new season. Does anybody else feel the same or feel another way open for discussion.

Extremely excited for this one on June 12th. The book by Scott Turow is phenomenal and Apple TV has done well so far with its series, Hijacked is amazing, anyone else looking forward to this one? Jake Gyllenhaal isn't my favorite but he's really good I think this will be good and hope I don't get let down #suspense #crime

Anyone else given this a shot? I was skeptical because it felt like they were using a famous character (Sam Spade) to prop up a generic French detective show. However, the 1st episode was excellent (it’s free on Amazon). The writing was far above what you’d see in a normal procedural and Clive Owen seems super locked-in to the role. I started an AMC+ free trial to finish the 5 remaining episodes.

Anyone watched Season 2? I loved the first season but I thought it was a limited series I've seen trailers but a little skeptical of s2 would be any good, Cranston will deliver I'm sure of that so I was wondering if anyone here watched s2 and their thoughts on it...thanks

Does any one else get annoyed that nothing good ever happens the monk. He has the same sad life the whole time. And I get that this show returns to the status quo every episode, but it gets annoying.

I'm just being curious I was thinking about it earlier so most people like a crime series that has a different case ever episode like a CSI type or one season off one case like a Mare of Eastown or True Detective type personally I very much prefer a season doing one case I don't watch CSI or law and order Alot because every episode is a different case what do you prefer?

I’m have mixed feelings on this. The original is fantastic and it deals with class and power structures, which should be right up Spike’s alley. However, Soderbergh just did a series based on this for Max. I was hoping that a new Denzel/Spike film would be something groundbreaking & unique. Has potential to be really good a great action Director John Woo and a great action actor Joel Kinneman should be a good combo I'm curious how this will do in theaters probably will be a straight to stream type of movie but I get it take advantage of the holidays and make money in theaters lol anyone else looking towards this one

I have only seen a few scenes of this series but have heard good things. I was wondering since it's an anthology series what's the best season or what should I start with? I've seen little pieces of s1 and maybe an episode of s2 but nothing to judge anything. Did you like this show? Is there a best season?
