Just finished watching Nimona and oh my gosh I loved it. It was simultaneously really funny and depressing. I loved the LGBTQ+ themes, both up front and hidden symbolism. So much of it mirrored LGBTQ+ experiences in real life and how society treats queer people. I'd love to hear all of your thoughts on the movie, but keep it respectful please.

I have never really seen this show talked about on here. I think deserves love and recognition. Too often history is straight washed and sanitized. Or should I say erased. I'd like to see more shows like this.

Anyone else get a little uncomfortable when they see someone ask for any kind of specific "spicy" lgbt+ show or book? Like maybe they're just fetishizing it? I see those asks way more than the homophobic ones now, but either one tends to make me feel the ick. Does NOT help the profiles asking for spicy mlm stuff are very feminine presenting, which is who usually does sexualize gay men. 😭

So,I've been thinking about this quite a bit lately and that is why are we Aces so underrepresented in media? The only Ace characters I can think of off the top of my head are Jughead (comics) and Gwenpool (comics)

Hey lgbt people: lately I’ve been seeing a lot of asks that ask for no lgbt content out of “personal preference.” As a queer person, I’m not sure I’m comfortable with people feeling free to engage in homophobic behavior out of “preference.” Does anyone have opinions about whether Likewise should require people to engage in accepting behavior or is this just fee speech?

So, I read an article about this French Victorian-Era murder mystery with an interracial lesbian couple, Mystère à la tour Eiffel, & I really want to watch it, but I can’t find an English-subtitled recording anywhere. In the article there was a link to a Tumblr page with the recording, but it’s been deleted. I’m happy to watch online or buy it, but I can’t find it anywhere.
