Just watched the first episode of The Americans. It was a bit slow and I'm not sure If I should keep watching. Any advice?

Kevin Simons 100% agree that it’s a slow burn. I stopped and started a few times but it is absolutely worth the watch. Fantastic storytelling and performances.

Despondent Hull It's a quiet, slow burn that gets better as you go. It always takes its time introducing and establishing characters. It definitely keeps an 80s espionage thriller pace, which is fitting; but, if you might find it too slow if you want something closer to a modern Mission Impossible film. It's closer to God Father than to Scarface. I found some of the late season twists tedious; but, I definitely think this is worth some time.

Mike Keep watching it gets real good. That is my all time favorite series. It has its highs and lows but it gets intense at times.
