Happy Star Wars Day, and May the 4th be with you! What's your best Star Wars-related memory that doesn't directly relate to watching one of the shows or movies? It could be WHO you watched a certain movie with or the circumstances under which you watched it. It could be meeting a star or something that happened at a convention. It could be when you learned they were finally making another movie. It could be a trailer that caught your imagination. Anything!

Audrey When I was maybe 7 my dad was sooooo excited to show me the original star wars. We kept getting interrupted and I wasn't really invested in it and he was so disappointed 😭

Brandon Reed The same thing happened with my eight-year-old recently. She was so excited because she thought it was a "grown up" movie, and then she didn't even make it to Han Solo's introduction 😭

Momma Mia🐦‍⬛ My biggest (and fondest) memories were the notoriously long box office lines for the original Star Wars movie—the excitement was palpable! 🤩🍿 Same thing happened when I stood in line for Jaws a couple years earlier. I was a tween when Jaws hit, and a freshly minted teenager when Star Wars landed. — Safe to say, those two films made me fall in love with film 🥰 They weren’t just movies—they were BLOCKBUSTERS!! And they left a permanent mark on how I see storytelling and cinema 🎥 … and on pop culture as a whole.

Brandon Reed It's not many movies (in the grand scheme of things) that have the impact that Jaws and Star Wars had.

Nona Lisa I loved watching the Star Wars craze being shown on That '70s Show. That was so fun!

Brandon Reed I remember laughing my head off when Eric Foreman said something like, "This had better be better than Planet of the Apes," when they were on their way to or had just arrived at the theater. Of course, the original Planet of the Apes is a great movie, but it doesn't compare to Star Wars.
