Releasing April 25, The Legend of Ochi appears to be a fantasy coming of age story in the vein of E.T. The baby Ochi is largely, if not entirely, a practical effect, with a team of puppeteers bringing the adorable creature to life.

Reviews are in, and the new Snow White remake is... Apparently not great 😐 Has anyone seen the film yet? Do you feel that its negative reception is deserved? Or do you feel differently? BECAUSE of all the buzz around the movie's press tour and all, I'll remind everyone to be civil, please. Thanks!

So I'm hearing that the TTRPG card game, Magic: The Gathering is getting some screen adaptations. It's starting with a movie, then a show. It sounds like they're planning a whole MTG cinematic universe. Thoughts?

The next Shrek movie has finally had its cast announced. The original movie's main heroic cast returns, along with Zendaya as Shrek and Fiona's daughter. Antonio Banderas is notably absent from the cast list, for now, though he's not confirmed to be absent from the film. So I'm just curious. I know opinions are split on the Harry Potter show. Many are wondering why it's happening at all. But would you be more interested in a show set in the Wizarding World, but not Harry Potter?

I just heard about this. I heard it described as "a throwback fantasy film that features many popular 80s actors". Led in some fashion by Tami Stronach. Many of you will know her as The Neverending Story's Childlike Empress. Has anybody seen this?

What are your thoughts on the upcoming Wicked adaptation?

The first full trailer for fantasy horror film Until Dawn has posted. It looks like it follows Sony's tradition of making adaptations that aren't really adaptations (the premise is totally different from that of the source video game) but it still looks like it could be a decent movie. Before you watch, know that this does appear to be a redband/non-theatrical/non-television trailer, with more language and violence than would normally be in a conventional trailer.
