"Eehh... this had an interesting concept. I did like when Aren and Lacey first interacted, but outside of that? I felt like it was going to be Dear White People mixed with Harry Potter, instead leaned too much into that Rom Com trope. Needed more of a villain to keep the movie focused. Needed a Kyle. Recommend if it's free for you."
"This was a very interesting concept. A group of black people whose sole job is to make white people feel comfortable by either manipulating the environment or helping them get what they want. An uncomfortable white person is dangerous. Don't be put off by the premise. They really handle this is in a light hearted way and not try to be in your face and offensive. Just like life there are little things we all do and we might not realize they are offensive or prejudice. It does fall a little short in it's execution. The tone was right but I wanted them to give more examples and take things a bit further. It is a little long l and some of the jokes don't land. Overall it's a veery solid movie with a message you should check out. Please check out my podcast Mostly Low Budget Reviews with Clarence for a full break down. Link is in the bio. Thank you!"
