"I really suffered to get through this one, the only good thing about this movie was that it was only about an hour and a half long. Starts as a rip-off of Silence of the Lambs and tries to feel like Se7en, but fails miserably on both accounts. I don't blame the actors involved, it's just horrible writing. There is a twist at the end but it's not enough to redeem all that came before it. John Malkovich did a decent job, but Martin Lawrence has no business being in a thriller, (I'm not a fan.) Poorly done overall. 4/10"
"Pretty good movie. A fan of John Malkovich and the role was perfect for him. Love Martin Lawrence but that role on the other hand, couldn’t connect with given he’s a great comedian and this is a thriller. "

"while i definitely enjoyed this movie, setting was very 90s & well done, Malkovich gave a staggering performance as usual, i am a little bored w/ butch female cop role & Martin was luke warm at 1st & picked up tward the end, 1 thing that has to go is the idea of the super loyal partners troupe. It really goes back to the crusades when it was encouraged for soldiers to take male LOVERS to battle, they would tend to fight to the death for each other, if they lived they would be roman ghey citizens & honored as such. A lot of this type of relationship in world 🌎 history "
"This makes me so mad. Mindcage is a blatent rip-off of Silence of The Lambs, down to musical score choices, blocking and even the quid pro quo scene. How was this allowed to be made???
The twist ending was at least original but cringeworthy. "
