"This is one of the best remakes I have ever seen because this is a part of Al Pacino's golden age when he could do no wrong. Robin Williams was incredibly good and by this time most people only thought of Williams as a comedian and it turns out he can pull off a terrifying antagonist."
"Just gonna keep it simple and say it’s a fantastic movie. Great performances, great story. Hope you watch it. "

"This movie was stunning. It had me wondering about motives and plots as well as my sanity. It does have some content which might be upsetting. 9/10. This is the type of movie that leaves you with a feeling of unease. Great if you like mystery, psychological thrillers, or good turned corrupt."
"Al Pacino brings his brilliance to Alaska in this "whodunnit" who can't sleep whether it's from Alaska not getting dark at that time or other reasons... Robin Williams becomes a chameleon playing a role much different than his normal hilarious comedy's and does it well I thought. Hillary Swank also does her job very convincingly I thought this was a pretty good murder investigation movie with a twist. (There's also an original version done based on Norway and it's "midnight sun" where summers have little to no darkness similar to Alaska)"
"Taut thriller with the unique backdrop of summertime in Alaska (never gets dark)"
