In stifling Edwardian London, Wendy Darling mesmerizes her brothers every night with bedtime tales of swordplay, swashbuckling and the fearsome Captain Hook. But the children become the heroes of an even greater story, when Peter Pan flies into their nursery one night and leads them over moonlit rooftops through a galaxy of stars and to the lush jungles of Neverland.

"This is easily the most underrated Peter Pan out there. It fixes a lot of the cringey moments from the original and play but still pays homage to it.
I would easily argue this is the best interpretation of Hook, Wendy, Michael, Smee, Crocodile, & maybe even Peter Pan himself as characters in all versions. I love how they expanded on Wendy's character but it did create some strange moments at the beginning of the story. So once you get past that you should love it.
Despite that though I can always watch this Peter Pan movie, other stories I have to be in the mood for. Plus. The Soundtrack is absolutely phenomenal. James Newton Howard is a genius.
You can just tell that the writers were fans of the original story and truly studied it before writing this interpretation. They expanded in ways I couldn't have imagined or even dreamed they would. But they bring so much to the story and I love every minute of it. I thoroughly enjoy how they did the ending and this movie will always be a favorite.
To top matters off, I believe with all my heart in fairies."
"Jason Isaac's is amazing as Captain Hook and Mr. Darling. I love that the story gets into Peter's emotions more, and the ending makes me so happy.
Top 3 of live action Peter Pan movies for me (along with the Mary Martin version and Hook)"
