"As far as crazy college party movies go, this one fits comfortably into that genre. They're not reinventing the wheel with this film, but there are plenty of really funny moments that take place over the course of one night of wild debauchery. It's worth a watch if you're in the mood for some crude humor and stupid fun. 7/10"
"An alright college party type music. It does have a meaningful ending that deals with stress and standing up for yourself and all that, but with a movie like this? Doesn't save it for me.
While some of their shenanigans made me laugh, I still don't recommend it. If I'd have seen it when I was younger, maybe it would've joined the same team as Superbad and The Hangover, but right now? Sorry Miles, but this ain't my movie. "
"This is a raucous and often crude comedy that offers its fair share of laughs, but doesn't quite reach the pinnacle of the genre. The film follows the escapades of three friends on a wild night out to celebrate one of their 21st birthdays.
The movie's strengths lie in its energetic and uninhibited performances by the young cast, including Miles Teller and Skylar Astin. Their chemistry and comedic timing keep the film moving at a brisk pace. There are moments of hilarity, and the film doesn't shy away from pushing boundaries when it comes to humor.
It also leans heavily into some of the more familiar and overused college party movie tropes, which can make it feel predictable at times. Some of the humor, while undoubtedly intended to be outrageous, may come across as crude or insensitive to certain viewers.
While it may not break new ground in the genre, "21 & Over" succeeds in delivering what it promises: a wild, alcohol-fueled adventure with plenty of laughs along the way. If you're in the mood for a college party comedy with lowbrow humor and outrageous antics."
"super funny movie!"
