"I can't stop thinking about this. It is truly so upsetting and painful to watch, but it's also just such a thoughtful film. A hard watch, but a purposeful piece of art that sticks with you. Multi-media animation is so interesting I'd love to see more. I'd also really love to read the graphic novel this was based on one day. "
"If a nuclear war movie can be quaint, then this is it. An animated story about a couple who still have World War II in recent memory, this movie focuses on their emotional bond. The English know how to make nuclear war films, and if you like that sort of thing, this is a must-see. Impactful without being grotesque."

"This movie destroyed me emotionally. This is a hard to watch film from a time when nuclear war was a real threat. This movie has a similar unnerving feel as the movie Threads but shows a perspective that is more relatable and down to earth. Very, very sad movie that will leave you upset but I definitely do not regret watching it."
