"This is a flawed movie. But I still found reasons to like parts of it. The film delved into the goth/vampire culture, and just seeing Claudia Black of Farscape as a Vampire watcher was a nice surprise. Aaliyah is only in the last 40 minutes of the movie, but she provided a decent performance. (RIP) There a few CGI affects that were good, and who doesn't like seeing Lestat perform with his heavy metal band? 😁"
"I love this movie for what it is..a piece of 2000s campy nu metal fan fair! I love the sound track for this movie and the look/feel is some of my favorite of the 2000s schlock. It is almost a time capsule of the time period of when it was made and what was considered ”cool” back then just just comes off as kind of silly now…I wouldn’t be surprised if it was silly then to be honest. But I do love the character/costume design for this movie it’s legitimately really good. But if you want to turn off your brain a little and watch 2000s camp this is a good one."
"Aaliyah she did a great job as the vampire in this movie. "
