"It’s complicated, I guess on one hand I just hate stories with adult men using their power dynamics to exploit an under aged girl. However because it is told from said mans daughters perspective I feel like it does really explore the pain and trauma this would cause to someone in Ginger’s situation. That being said, it does feel to me as though Rosa’s character is an after thought. Instead of being treated like a victim of a predictor I felt as though she was being treated as a traitor friend/seductress. Maybe I was misunderstanding what the directors intention was but I can only form an opinion about what I watched. "
