"Alright enough Hollywood! Nothing creative or original or well acted these days "

A man with a criminal past is living a regular life when a turn of events drags him back into the underworld. That’s a plot that has been done a million times and there is nothing new here. This a generic version of john wick that tries to be funny with not-so-great results. The fight choreography is ok using the environment which reminded me of those classic Jackie Chan movies. They tried to add this love element that didn’t fit. They had zero chemistry and didn’t feel anything like they would date each other. It was a little too violent for the lighthearted tone of the rest of the movie. There really isn’t a whole lot to this one. Just another action clone that you can most likely skip. Please check out my podcast Mostly Low Budget Movie Reviews with Clarence. I provide a spoiler free breakdown of exactly what the movie is about, the Rotten Tomatoes score and my complete thoughts. "Very disappointing, story and premise is great but execution was terrible, and chemistry between these character just feels off. Also feel like they should’ve expanded a bit more on the plot and should’ve had a lot more action scenes."

"Love Hurts is one of those cheesy movies that you sometimes just need. While it doesn't break new ground or offer much depth, it has its place, especially when you need something light after intense or heavy content. The predictable plot, over-the-top moments, and cliché dialogue are all part of its charm. Sometimes you don't want a film to challenge you; you just want it to entertain and give your nervous system a break.
For what it is, I'd give it a 3/5 — not remarkable, but comforting in its own way. It's the kind of movie you throw on when you want to unwind without overthinking."
