"It’s okay. I guess it’s closer to the original movies? I know this is a controversial opinion, but I liked the 1998 version. What can I say, I’m a product of the 90s. This version reminded me of the T-Rex and Raptors teaming up to fight the bigger dinosaur in Jurassic World. I waited for Godzilla to give the human heroes of the film a nod of solidarity at the end. Visually it looks great. "
"It’s definitely more of a 4 but there was barely any action. I honestly liked this more than Godzilla vs kong. The action was better in that. But the story/ human part was a lot better in this. The dialogue can sometimes be… not bad but very basic. I don’t know that barely left me satisfied with my godzilla itch. That first roar was badass though. I really don’t know why the American movies have less kaju scenes. "
"A movie that is entertaining and well directed by Gareth Edward's. The performances are solid and so is the story."

"Godzilla (2014) is a reboot of the classic monster movie franchise, directed by Gareth Edwards. The story follows Ford Brody, a U.S. Navy officer, as he becomes entangled in a catastrophic conflict involving massive ancient creatures. Fifteen years after a nuclear plant disaster in Japan, Ford reunites with his estranged father, Joe, who believes there’s a cover-up about the real cause of the incident. They soon uncover the existence of giant radioactive creatures, including "MUTOs" (Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organisms) that feed on radiation and wreak havoc as they head toward populated areas. As the military scrambles to contain the threat, an even larger creature awakens: Godzilla, an ancient apex predator that emerges as both a destructive force and an unlikely savior. Godzilla’s battle with the MUTOs highlights humanity’s vulnerability in the face of nature’s power. The film explores themes of nature’s balance, humanity’s impact on the environment, and the awe-inspiring scale of the natural world."
