"I once read that a critics review of this film that was one word: "crappy-ier." I wouldn't go that far. This film isn't terrible, but it isn't great either. Clive Owen plays the role of an aspiring novelist who uses the story of his life, so it seems, as the base of his novel. He narrates the entire film, and I admit that at times his voice becomes tedious. But the storyline does have an artsy feel, which gives it a low-key and unique style. The viewer isn't sure how much of the film is his life, and how much is his novel, because the lines of reality are blurred. There is one pretty good twist at the end to this fairly acted and low budget film."
