"The ultimate mystery-thriller complete with art and religious subtext that some will love and others will be annoyed by. I actually liked this more than The DaVinci Code, which I thought was also very good. The cast is well-placed and there are action sequences to pick up any non-conspiracy moment. Those that wonder about the true meaning of any Italian Renaissance art piece will revel in this movie. "
"actually… this was my favourite one in the series! Surprisingly, I never really liked the Da Vinci Code, though. And don’t get me started on the Lost Symbol…
Of course, it can’t be a Robert Langdon series without it’s usual: science… religion… theories, nasty murders, secret societies, scary antagonists, and, of course, symbology.
Obviously you can’t fit 600+ thick pages into a movie, so I think they did well with this one. Kinda sad they didn’t fit some of my favourite parts in the book to the movie; but, hey, at least it’s not like the Inferno movie! I’m now a bit used to the flip-switch-remove act of the characters, that didn’t bother me much. …And Ewan McGregor, what a nice surprise!"
"The book is much better but still worth a watch."
