"A little bit soapy and yet I like it."

"I would put this one up next to 'An Affair To Remember'. I don't think it's better than AATR but it is certainly beautiful and lovely in a similar way. I don't think the description does it justice. There is so much more to it than that description. For one thing the woman goes blind and the playboy becomes a doctor. I don't think I'm doing the best job of recommending it. It's a movie that should be experienced. One thing I would like to add is that when Rock Hudson switches his acting style to doctor in this movie, it is kinda comical, I want to laugh at how he portrays doctor but I very much enjoy the ride of the movie as well. I'm not trying to be mean about his acting. I tend to compare his acting like a doctor to the voice acting of the tv doctor Hobart watches in the animated movie ' The iron Giant'."
