"We finally found out what happened after the end scene from the sequel. Jack Black still delivers as Po & Jackie Chan actually has more than 5 lines! That always annoyed me aboutthe 1st 2 movies but this delivered. There are fun moments throughout. It was neat seeing the secret panda village. Po learning about his heritage also felt real.
However, it severely suffers from new Dreamworks. Old Dreamworks was about subtle storytelling, breathtaking visuals, deep plots, quite a bit of jokes (a few fart related), great messages/lessons, & interesting characters. New Dreamworks is in your face animation, forcing a new meme format (they make dumb almost cringey moments or over the top parts that would work well as a meme instead of as a scene in a movie), stories you understand in the first watch through, quite a bit of nonsense that they try to bend into jokes, & very bright color palette. It's not necessarily bad but they did lose the beauty they once held.
Shrek was a true pivotal satire that shook society, HTTYD astounded us with their animation & story, & Kung Fu Panda took the world by storm with a fun time. So this 3rd installment of the story tried to up that. They made Pos quirks come out even more, removed his seriousness he can have (he could take moments seriously but he'd be honest, like everytime he has that final conversation with a villain), & made him come off as only goofy. Yes he is goofy, but he's an onion with layers, so he has more than just that.
Instead of sticking with their ability to make you laugh & still astound you with their plotline, they're focused on cheap jokes & over the top scenes. Yes, it is made for kids but so was ATLA. Heck so was Shrek & Kung Fu Panda, but you can look back on it & be glad you watched it. This felt more like the writers forgot to watch the first 2 movies & upped the traits of every character to stab in those quick jokes.
It does have a fun story and decent villain but it truly lost all subtlety."
" At the end credit of the second film, it teases the panda tried and shows them in this film where Po finds his father and a tribe of pandas. Jk Simmons' voice acting in the movie was great. The dialogue and film were okay, but it could have taken it more seriously as the second one. Besides that, it was still entertaining to watch."
"Good but not great as the first two films."

"I love the way it depicts the same real life thoughts and feelings of a foster parent once a biological parent begins to have a deeper relationship with their children, and seeing Tigress interact with Lei Lei was so cute <3 "
