"At the suggestion of @nate_kankelfitz, I watched this original horror movie whose remake Slither from 2096, I watched first, in backwards order. Thank you, Nate!
This totally 1980's movie starring Tom Atkins definitely has a much slower plot. It starts out in 1959, and fast-forwards to the 1980s when a parasite 🪱 from a corpse escapes from the town mortuary into nearby sororities. There is a fun soundtrack, and most of the characters are okay, but don't stand out too much. The acting is fair. Warning:⚠️ brief female nudity, and some cursing."

"For the quality of the production of editing in the film, it's surprising to say that the movie is 36 years old. Very well done movie, loved the storyline. Would recommend. "

"“Thrill me.” Ted Dekker! Tom Atkins! Alien slugs! Zombies! It’s a fast and furious sci-fi-horror-comedy mash-up with appealing characters and great effects. More fun than humans deserve to have."

"By Fred Dekker who brought us Monster Squad, Robocop, House and more. He’s full of One Liners and , yes, this is the 80’s so it’s gonna be goofy"
