"A by-the-book John Hughes movie. The main character was inherently relatable given that I am/was also a goal-less overtalkative twentysomething working at Target about four months ago. My biggest two problems with the movie were the short, unsatisfying conclusion that explains less than the whole film did about its family-issues subplot, and the over-the-top gratuitous fetishizaton of Jennifer Connelly throughout. Deserves a remake because the concept is great on paper but was executed poorly."
