"Such a swoony, lovely film. Audrey Hepburn is down right mesmerizing as Holly and the only thing more entrancing than her in this film is George Peppard’s reactions to her. It’s so utterly romantic. The only things I’d change about this movie are Mickey Rooney’s god awful racist role as Mr. Yunioshi and the fact that Holly calls Paul her brother’s name basically the whole film. Besides that, I fully understand why this film has withstood the test of time and now all I wanna do is window shop in front of Tiffany’s while eating breakfast and humming “Moon River.”"
"It’s obviously the more agreeable version of the novella, with some changes in the storyline. Having read the book first, I felt it’s weird that narrator, who’s one of the characters too, has almost nothing to say in the film. However, I liked that the script is more complex than current day book-based films. Plus whenever the story had to be shortened, it was done without altering the plot."
