"I absolutely love musical theatre. Heck, I’m even studying it as a college minor right now. However, The King and I isn’t a “timeless” classic by any means, it is horrifically racist and I cannot in good faith recommend it to anyone. While some of the songs might be catchy, it’s just not worth it in the end."
