Mr. Kim is jobless, lost in debt and has been dumped by his girlfriend. He decides to end it all by jumping into the Han River - only to find himself washed up on a small, mid-river island. He soon abandons thoughts of suicide or rescue and begins a new life as a castaway. His antics catch the attention of a young woman whose apartment overlooks the river. Her discovery changes both their lives.

"Anyone else seen this absolute gem? There’s nothing quite like it. A deeply-indebted man’s botched suicide attempt turns into a desert-island-survival flick, but his island is a waterfowl preserve dead in the center of a metropolis. Meanwhile another young adult hasn’t left her bedroom in years, and takes photos out her window during disaster drills because she loves the evacuated streets. She sees the man on the island and it begins easily the oddest romance I’ve ever seen. It’s an absolute delight."
