A year after getting divorced, Helen Carpenter, thirty-two, lets her annoying, ten years younger brother talk her into signing up for a wilderness survival course. It’s supposed to be a chance for her to pull herself together again, but when she discovers that her brother’s even-more-annoying best friend is also coming on the trip, she can’t imagine how it will be anything other than a disaster.

"⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 Based on the book which naturally goes a bit deeper but the movie does cut to the chase in a better way with some of the story. This gave me what I generally want in a romcom: to turn my brain off, be taken away preferably to a pretty place for a little while, with appealing people and their dopey manufactured tension 🤣. There are some annoyingly simplistic characters here but they are much MUCH moreso in the book so I’m not terribly mad about it. Just the right little light summer afternoon diversion I needed. And I might watch anything Luke Grimes is in at this point 😁 "
"I just finished watching this movie called#float onprime video. Honestly, I thought it was stupid."

"A bit light on the comedy side, or perhaps it's funnier if the movie is more relatable to those post-divorce. Anywho, it's a mild romcom based on a book. The movie didn't make me feel any strong emotions but again, it's probably better if the viewer can relate to it or at least admires romance movies."
"A really scenic, beautiful, light-hearted romcom for hopeless romantics. Luke Grimes is so charming and kind in this, he's definitely my type and gave me little butterflies. I thought there was a lot of chemistry between the cast, but be prepared for 1-2 cheese ball moments (just turn your cynical brain off and enjoy them). This one was easygoing and had me kicking my feet like a schoolgirl. Don't watch if you're in the mood for something high speed, low drag! It's chill and heartfelt. #getLukeGrimesinmoreromcoms"
