"Keye Luke and Lotus Long star in this murder mystery set in San Francisco. The storyline is about a famous professor who unearths an ancient Chinese tomb, finding an important artifact. He is murdered, the artifact is stolen, and the killer is at large. Keye Luke plays the role of a noted student of the late professor who investigates the crime. Some of his questioning leads him to parts of Chinatown as well as the consulate. There are no actual scenes filmed in San Francisco, but it makes for a nice and neat story. It was refreshing to see an Asian lead in a film of this era, however, there are still some tasteless jokes that were hard to ignore. Overall, the story was intelligent, well paced, and the acting was good.
