"This review is sponsored by Sharpie®️ and Epson®️ 😁. Seriously though, where has this low budget (although you won't believe it) fantasy, thriller, heartwarming story been hiding? From basically start to finish this movie will capture your imagination and pull at your emotions every which way. At the core it's about the relationship (or lack thereof) between a little girl and her estranged father and yet it's sooooo much more. You have the Incubi who control nightmares in an eternal struggle with the Storytellers who control dreams, and of course both sides have their own respective masters that are in control. You've got a Pathfinder who is unique unto himself and can be quite entertaining at times. And you've also got Ink, a man who is an outcast desiring to be an Incubi and hopes the offering of the little girl's soul will be enough to give the leader for his acceptance. The instrumental music throughout is calming, haunting, and even shimmy (yes..shimmy!) inducing at times. There are moments that do remind you that this is a low budget movie but they are few and short. And I was in awe of the visual effects and how they just draw you into this beautiful and sometimes dark world. The ending was actually a surprise and had me cheering, although I feel like I should have seen it coming, but glad I didn't. If you are a fan of fantasy, heroic, redemption and just great epic tales of someone needing saving, this is a must watch. I don't even know if this review can really do it justice, but I tried my best. This is just something that has to be seen. Just the effects they use on the Incubi alone are worth the price of admission, although I realized after I watched it on Amazon Prime it's also on a bunch of free streaming services so there isn't really a price 😁. So turn off the lights, grab some munchies and your beverage of choice, and get as comfy as humanly possible before you experience this beautiful motion picture. And most importantly......enjoy!😃😃😃.
