"Essentially a remake of the previous film, except everything is a downgrade in quality. A lot of the comedy falls flat and most of the performances are insufferable at best. Yet, there's still enough 80s-ness and good practical effects to make it an enjoyable watch. The poster art is rad af."
"This movie was one of my earliest intros to zombies as a kid. Different than other zombie flicks- these zombies can talk, you can't kill them by simply shooting them in the head, and they're hungry for "brains...BRAAIINNS!!" Silly and ridiculous, full of 80s vibes. Top notch 80s comedy horror."
"Definitely not as good as the first, but not as bad as the reviews make it seem. Felt even more of a comedy focus, and the child actors weren't great. The ending wasn't very satisfying either. It felt too neatly wrapped up at the end, while the first one benefits from its ambiguous ending. The sfx weren't as good, but some of the showpieces were pretty good. Lots of character arcs that don't pay off, especially the returning characters. My biggest complaint is that comedy dictates the plot."
