Unlucky in love, chemist Paul Matthews visits gypsy Madame Rosa for help. Quickly realizing he is a hopeless nerd, she gifts him with Love Potion No. 8, which makes anyone who wears it irresistible to the opposite sex for four hours. Paul and animal psychologist coworker Diane Farrow decide to test it on themselves. The awkward pair suddenly find themselves alluring to anyone they approach, but soon realize they are most attracted to each other.

"3.75/5*s I haven't seen it in years but I loved it and have been meaning to watch it again with my daughter. It's fun watching well-known actors in movies before they became famous...like Sandra Bullock. She was so cute and nerdy. Tate Donovan never became a big name but I've always liked him. I loved the concept of the movie. Lots of clichés though. Basically an all-around adorable rom com with a dash of magic!"

I threw it on last night after scrolling through Hulu for a while, thinking I’d probably just end up scrolling through my phone with it on in the background. It’s so bad it’s good. I enjoyed it! The premise is interesting enough to hold your attention."
