I was always under the impression that this movie was going to be absolutely horrifying. It wasn't, but I actually really appreciate how weird it is. A lot of crazy worldbuilding details get brought up super casually let, yeah of course X character is a psychic, why wouldn't they be? It was a pretty fun mystery movie when I met it on its terms."
