"This is a well acted drama, sometimes overdramatic, but of course it is, Bette Davis is the main character, Judith. George Brent plays the role of her physician and love interest. Geraldine Fitzgerald is her closest friend, more like a sister. Humphrey Bogart plays the role of a stable man, who fancies Judith, and has an atrocious Irish accent which comes and goes throughout the movie. A very young and good-looking Ronald Reagan rounds out the cast as Judith's best male friend, and an important part of her social circle. The entire plot revolves around Judith and her health. I truly enjoyed watching this emotional rollercoaster π’ of a movie, with all of the dramatic scene closeups the director could offer. π"
