What starts as a poignant medical documentary about Deborah Logan's descent into Alzheimer's disease and her daughter's struggles as caregiver degenerates into a maddening portrayal of dementia at its most frightening, as hair-raising events begin to plague the family and crew and an unspeakable malevolence threatens to tear the very fabric of sanity from them all.

"This movie had such a strong and legitimately scary first half, I was totally on broad then it just kinda kept getting sillier and sillier then I checked out at the end cause I disliked it so much. Out of all the things they could do with the story you know. But I will say it’s still a spooky watch and worth watching overall. Don’t let my comments fool you otherwise. Haha"
"A unique and interesting premise about the horrors of Alzheimer's, getting older, and past trauma. I liked the twist on demonic possession, although this is a relatively predictable and can sometimes feel like it's dragging on without paying off. I do love the subplots- how Deborah treats her daughter, how nobody listens to Deborah in her old age, how generational norms negatively impact our kids and their lives. I think this has so much potential, it just didn't need to take all the avenues it did and maybe didn't need to be a found footage horror. Worth the watch if you want something a little spooky and new, but the ending was so cliche and reminded me of the Blair Witch, As Above So Below, and just about any horror movie released during this time."
"A student project studying a woman with Alzimers turns into something way more sinister. A lot of it plays out like Paranormal activity but with more going on. Initially they want to treat this as a regular as things escalate. So the investigation and the way that plays out was pretty interesting. Very soild performances. Grounded for the most part but they do go a little bit of the rails in the 3rd act with that Blair Witch type ending. Overall this is one of the better movies in this genre I would recommend.
