"This romantic comedy with Jack lemmon and Dorothy Provine definitely has a 1960s era plot. Jack lemmon plays an advertising agent who lives in the suburbs with his wife and two children. Along comes a beautiful neighbor, Romy Schneider, who happens to be his wife's best friend. Mike Conners plays her husband. A plot hashed out between Jack Lemmon and the best friend plays through the entire film, and becomes a silly mess at times. It is supposed to be set in San Francisco, so a few background scenes are planted to make it look that way. This movie is not as funny as most of Jack Lemmons' movies, but at least watchable."
