"If I had to describe this movie in one sentence its if a female Jackie Chan starred in an Indiana Jones movie. Michelle Yeoh is amazing but I say Jackie Chan as more people recognize his name.
This movie was on Netflix long ago and because I love Jackie Chan and love Supercop I fell in love with Michelle Yeoh. So much so shes now one of my top 2 favorite actresses. Queen Latifah is tied with her for number 1. Because of her I wanted to watch this movie that didn't interest me much.
I remember this movie and liking the beginning but not liking it enough to rewatch it. Then one day. I went to see it again & Netflix removed it. I did enjoy the movie, it had a sad but good ending. So I decided to buy it, but it's nearly impossible to find & when you do find it, it's 60 bucks. I didn't like it enough to pay that.
Still I remember it fondly. & the moment I have a chance to watch it again I'm taking it. It's not a masterpiece by any means. It is like if Michele Yeoh starred in an Indiana Jones movies. That is exactly what you're going to get. But it's still a lot of fun and good action sequences. Plus I enjoy the villain. He's sometimes cheesy but I still like it."
