"Definitely a weird old time musical. But still weird. Its hard to explain and you have to want to finish it otherwise you'll probably stop three minutes in. Helpful info: skip the musical numbers if you don't like them. I skipped a lot. Theyre repetitive and you get the gist in the first line or two"
"I try to keep in mind the era of the film I'm watching, but yeesh. Unbelievable what was ok back then. It would be great if it was modernized, I could see the dances etc whilst I was watching. The effects are still really good, mostly because you can appreciate the stop motion, stage tricks and clowns. It's clear they were trying to use new computer tricks etc., which is neat to see. Love the colours but definitely not something I'd let my kids watch."
"Costumes for Annette were *chefs kiss*. Everything else is comically offensive, boring, poorly written. I watched sewing inspo and got what I needed 🤷🏼♀️"
