"Generally Comedy Central approaches the roastee--in this case, Bieber approached Comedy Central. The fact that he pretty much pressured Comedy Central into roasting him by begging them to the point that they finally gave in & roasted him to shut him up shows how much meaning less the roast actually had become. Between this one & the roast of trump & James Franco were the 3 lowest rated ones that I can remember since they started airing on Comedy Central and I started watching them in the late 90’s"
